Red pandas are classified as Endangered on the IUCN Red List, with fewer than 10,000 remaining in the wild. Their numbers are continuing to decline due to deforestation, poaching, and the loss of bamboo forests — their main source of food.

Here at Manor Wildlife Park, we’re lucky to have our own red panda family — Betty and Barney, our proud parents, and their three lively youngsters: Fred, Pebbles, and Bam Bam (yes, just like The Flintstones family!). These playful pandas are firm favourites with our visitors and great ambassadors for their species.
