Black and White Ruffed Lemurs Veg Box
Black and White Ruffed Lemurs Veg Box
The park’s newest arrivals are resident black and white ruffed lemurs, Antana, Kamora and Dahlia. Coming from Madagascar, these lemurs hold the title of ‘world’s largest pollinator’, down in part to their love of all things sweet! Here at the park, we have to keep their sweet tooth in check, meaning their diet consists mainly of fresh veg (but don’t worry, they still get the odd treat from time to time!). During these unprecedented times, we’re asking for your donations to help pick up the food tab for these amazing animals.
On a normal day, one of our black and white ruffed lemurs will eat the following:
450g's specialised animal feed
Leafy greens
Root vegetables
Seasonal ‘browse’ including willow and dandelions
The (very) occasional sweet treat!
When you donate a black and white ruffed lemur care package, you’re providing essential funds that will help Manor Wildlife Park care for its animals during the COVID-19 lockdown. Your gift will be used wherever it is needed most.
